BEAR HOLLOW LOG HOMES IS AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR STRONGWOOD LOG HOMES. We want to offer you as many options as possible to make your dream of a log home possible.  We offer over 70 different profiles of kiln dried logs which means: 

1-  No Shrinking! the logs do not settle  
2- The house has a tighter seal because windows and doors go in tight Strongwood is working on becoming one of the only log home companies to meet the Energy Star Standards, as well as green build standards 
3- There is no jacks and through bolts to adjust as the house settles. The cabinets can go directly on the wall without making adjustments. The plumber will not need a bunch of fancy slip joints to allow for settling. 
4- You can stain and seal the logs as soon as they are stacked 
5- The Kiln will kill the bugs and crystalize the sap so we don't have to use any nasty chemicals on our logs 
6- With over 70 profiles of logs we can design any type of house you want with the log you want.  We also offer a hand peeled look for those who are concerned with the milled logs looking too perfect. 
7-  We can offer a higher quality log because all the imperfections are found at the mill, not after the log has been placed in your home.    

We want to offer you as many choices as we can that is why we offer over 70 different log profiles. We can make the logs look hand peeled if you so desire. If you have an idea let us know and we will try to find away to accomplish it. 

We have our own plans but we usually do custom plans.  The cost of the plans goes toward the log package when everything is finalized. We understand this is your home and we want to do everything possible to make it the home you have been dreaming about.

We are here to assist you in building your log home.  We will assist you from start to finish to make this happen.  We will work with you if you want to build it yourself or we can work with your builder.  We also have contacts with qualified contractors and can offer a turn key home.  We will not, however, just turn you loose once the package has been shipped.  We have a construction manual and we will make sure we are on site as you stack your first courses to help you understand how the home comes together.
